By day, Samantha Montgomery works in one of the toughest neighborhoods in New Orleans where she cares for the elderly. In the evening she writes music for her YouTube channel, where she calls herself Princess Shaw. On the other side of the world, in Israel, Ophir Kutiel, known as Kutiman, makes mashups of amateur musicians. His YouTube channel has more than 50,000 followers. When the popular Kutiman discovers Princess Shaw, he is overwhelmed by her powerful voice. Over a distance of more than 7000 kilometers, two strangers begin a beautiful collaboration. The personal impact today's technology can have seems limitless. In "Presenting Princess Shaw” documentary filmmaker Ido Haar follows the collaborative process of the vocally strong, but unknown Princess Shaw and Kutiman, whose beats are already being heard worldwide. The result is a tribute to hard work, talent and dreams.
