Cave of Forgotten DreamsWerner Herzog

Director Werner Herzog, who made a name for himself with documentaries such as Grizzly Man and Encounters at the End The World, is allowed to enter into one of the most beautiful and fascinating places in the word: the caves of Chauvet-Pont-d’Arc in the South of France. For the first time since they were discovered in 1994, he has received permission to film the wall paintings, which are over 30.000 years old. Herzog interviews the men who first stumbled upon the cave and, in his unique style, tells the story behind these historic works of art. In amazing 3D, he offers viewers access to the so-called “Cave of Forgotten Dreams”.
