Is polarisation a problem?

"Polarisation". It is a term you hear every day. Regardless of which theme is being discussed, extreme opinions become stronger and reinforce each other. Not only in the media, but also in discussions between friends and acquaintances, it is increasingly difficult to take a nuanced position, to ask critical questions or to vent dissenting opinions without being placed in the hostile camp.
