Peace vs. JusticeKlaartje Quirijns

For over twenty years, Joseph Kony’s rebel army has left a trail of death and destruction in Northern Uganda. After failed military attempts to stop Kony, the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague was called upon to prosecute him. But will his being indicted bring peace to the region? This layered documentary about complex moral matters shows that, even though everyone essentially wants the same thing, different cultures have different interpretations of “peaceful solutions”.
