This film tells the unlikely story of Matthew VanDyke, a naive young American and amateur documentary filmmaker who, in search of adventure, buys a motorcycle and travels across the Middle East. By coincidence, he ends up in Libya, where rebels have taken up arms against Gaddafi. Before too long, he finds himself in the midst of a bloody war in which his participation turns into a global news item. Armed with a video camera VanDyke documents the war in which he actively participates and these images make up the core of this unique film …
