RainmakersFloris-Jan van Luyn
When we talk about economic growth versus environmental interests, China is often the black sheep. It is a place where capitalism takes priority over environmental laws and protection. Rainmakers portrays four Chinese eco-warriors who refuse to let the ecological destruction in their country continue any further. Their heroism and stubborness helps them in their battle against the unyielding and at times aggressive local authorities. A struggle with many losers and few winners.
