Shut Up Little Man! An Audio MisadventureMatthew Bate

When two college students move into a San Francisco apartment, they soon get to know their trashy neighbors. With only a thin wall separating them, the men can hear every word of their blazing and obscene drunken fights. Partly out of fear and partly out of wantonness they decide to record the arguments on tape. The tapes end up becoming a cult phenomenon that inspires comics, plays and even movie scripts. Using a compelling mix of interviews, archive footage and animation director Matthew Bate reconstructs a complex story about privacy, exploitation and morality.
