Snake DanceManu Riche & Patrick Marnham

The development and invention of the atomic bomb is a long story that takes us to different places across the globe. It starts deep into the Congolese jungle where uranium is gained. In Los Alamos, New Mexico J. Robert Oppenheimer developed the atomic bomb in 1940. Five years later the result becomes all too clear in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Snake Dance is an intriguing reflection on the consequences of our technological knowhow which has made mass destruction possible and on the choices mankind has to make in order to survive.
