In the nineties Louis Theroux made a portrait of the porn industry in San Fernando Valley, California. He wanted to find out whether a job as a porn star was a man’s dream job, but also looked at the psychological effects of carrying out the most intimate form of human contact publicly. Fifteen years later Theroux returned to California to see what became of ‘his’ porn stars. He soon discovers that everything has since changed.
