Underground & Revolt - KortfilmcompilatieJan Beddegenoodts, Khalo Matabane, Shoresh Kalantari, David Verbeek

Many young people have lost their faith in conventional politics, but that does not mean that they are politically apathetic. On the contrary. Worldwide we see new forms of protest and engagement. Young people make their voices heard through music, dance and social media. Jazar Krew started the first Palestinian Music Venue in haifa. Maedah is arrested in Tehran because she publishes her dance videos online. Chinese hip-hopper Lady Duck continues to make hip-hop despite a new directive. Up to and including the rave revolution in Tsiblisi. A unique and urgent compilation of short films full of creative forms of underground resistance.

After the screening, Ayed from Jazar Krew will play a DJ set in STUK cafe.
