Virtual reality is omnipresent, even at fi lm festivals. And there's a good reason for that: VR is no longer the exclusive new toy of technology geeks and early adopters of this new type of media. More and more movie directors are starting to work with the tool and are exploring its possibilities.

For documentary fi lmmakers, this technology opens up a new world. With VR goggles and headphones viewers fi nd themselves in the middle of a new reality. An intense, breathtaking experience, incomparable to watching a classic screen. DOCVILLE selected a series of strong short documentaries that take you to the other side of the world in a heartbeat. The Virtual Reality program includes four short fi lms. DOCVILLE employees provide, the necessary guidance and context between and after the fi lms.
