Throughout his life, James Randi had one big mission: to publicly expose psychics, faith healers and other ‘paranormal’ imposters. A master deceiver himself, he created fictional characters for himself and, for example, transformed his own life partner, artist Jose Alvarez, into the fake guru ‘Carlos’. An Honest Liar was awarded at many international film festivals.
