During the night of December 22, 2019, a bizarre crime shocks the city of Malmö: the nose of the iconic Zlatan Ibrahimović statue is stolen. The audacious theft makes headlines across Sweden and the rest of the world, but the case remains a mystery. Two years later, a local film crew is commissioned to make a true-crime documentary about the case. The crew hires private detective Claes Ekman to lead the investigation. At first, progress is swift, but soon the investigation takes an unexpected turn. Claes starts directing himself and others, obsessed with turning the documentary into an action-packed James Bond thriller. As the lines between reality and fiction blur, the film crew finds themselves questioning what the true purpose of their project is.
