My Voice Will Be With YouBruno Tracq

Hypnosis as anesthesia. It not only speaks to our imagination, it is already happening in practice, even in Belgium. We follow two renowned Belgian specialists in surgical hypnosis and are given an insight into their special method in which their voice, together with the power of the imagination, can take patients beyond the operating room and the pain.

Fabienne Roelants and Christine Watremez are among the most renowned specialists in surgical hypnosis. Their voices guide thoughts and can reassemble reality. This allows surgery to be done without anesthesia. The doctor-patient relationship is crucial in their functioning, something that requires time and effort and is not always easy in modern medicine. But if this works, it's not anesthesia, but our own imagination that takes center stage in the operating room.
