The financial crisis hurts the most vulnerable members of our society first. Impoverished young people have an especially tough time making it through. Jelle Janssens, a documentary film maker from Borgerhout, spent six months roaming the streets of his multicultural neighbourhood with his camera. He talked to young people who are being excluded from the labour market but have not given up hope.
